I am a user of the NET Bible using the Windows 2000 Operating System.
Two issues regarding Greek and Hebrew fonts:

1-When there are pointing or accent marks, a space is inserted by the accent that should not be there in the words. This makes it hard to see where a word starts or ends. Does anyone else have this problem, or a solution?

2-Everytime I restart my computer, I have to re-install the Greek and Hebrew fonts. Any ideas why this may happen?

Thank you.

i will ask todd (http://www.bible.org webmaster) to answer you... you should not have to reload fonts
are you using the fonts as listed in the other post on fonts here see http://net.bible.org/fonts.php

That problem is an IE problem - it doesn't like the overstrike characters. We've tried all sorts of things to make it go away, but nothing seems to help. So, I think we are stuck with it.

I missed the second part of your post about the greek and hebrew fonts going away when you reboot

go to c:\windows\fonts folder
double-click on greek.ttf and hebrew.ttf
that will re-register them and they should stick after that.

Name of your church: in the car, one the way to work, lunch time, on the way home, in the dining room, in the bedroom, but current looking for a new church home
and...since it is windows we are talking about, after you double click to re-register them...reboot for good measure...that way your system should save the settings
