How do we link to a specific chapter and verse?
We have tried this for Matthew 12:22
but it just goes to the first verse of the chapter

If you use the "search" box that is located below the Book and Chapter list (on the top left) type in the verse (s) that you are looking for it will bring up the verse. Click the link above.

It also works with a range of verses like Matthew 14:22-25

Hope this helps :read2:

Is there a way to specify a Bible version (NASB, KJV, etc.) when linking to a specific verse or range of verses?

Hi Obie

The Forum's bible referencing is to the net bible ... the forum is here to promote the use of that bible ... so that will be the version you get. It's a good translation ... and great notes ... so I hope you will have no problem with using it.

If you wish to reference another version, you are welcome to do so ... but you will have to type in the verse for yourself. (If that is not the case, I am sure someone else will step in here and help you out.)

Happy posting.

we are working on a new feature in the next bible http://www.nextbible.org where a person can search for the verse text they hare memorized from any translation and we hope to give you the reference and the NETBIble version of that text.

this is real helpful for me who memorized a lot of KJV verses and i can not remember the book/chapter/verse :)
