I'll keep this fairly simple.

They tried to aggressively expand. Purchased a competitor and newer equipment. Purchased a new headquarters location. Finally settled a long, hard fought contract negotiation. Then the CEO and a few of his people were released from their contracts by the BoD. The new CEO asked for the new contract to be rolled back below where we were during the contract talks before it became effective. We were the lowest paid in our industry for the type work we do and had one of the worst set of work rules in the industry as well.

They are looking at laying off 25% of our work force. The majority of the financial looses are from poorly researched and overly optimistic business projections. The savings from the employee pay and benefits cuts amounts to 5% of the projected savings. But the BoD is claiming the new employee contracts are the actual cause.

Too bad too. They have been having severe problems finding people who will work for them with the employment package they offer and the reputation our management has among folks in the industry.

He Gave me a wonderfull Idea ; Since we have the " Clean Air Act " here in the U.S.A. !!! I Have a " Working Prototype " of a Air Purifacation System ... to Capture Fine Particulates from the Burning of " Fossil Fuels " = Air Pollution !!! If it*s the Lord*s Will , then It will come to Pass !!! I Need Help with this , If things go down hill with your Company , I am Looking for Brothers in the Lord to start this Company , to the Lord*s Glory !!! Specs ; 1,200 Cubic feet per minute at 1 micron times one hour = 72 , 000 C. F. ; times 24 hrs = 1, 720,000 C.F. per Hour !!! Hepa standards is Point 03 .... 3 Microns ... i beat this by 2/3 !!! Japan has done studies on the Effects of NANO Particles from Diesil * SOOT * that get*s Deep into our Lungs ... !!! Approx. 3,000 people Die in California every year from air pollution , Not just Fuels Derived from Crude Oil , But Coal Too !!! Used to Power our Electric Power Generating Plants !!!
