Sorry, paco. So sad - we do grow to love our pets very dearly.
May the God of all comfort surround you with His love.

Hi, Paco.

So sorry you had to say goodbye.

Sounds like this guy was that one special animal, the one who comes along once in your life. You love all your little ones, but there's that one…

I'm praying that God will lift you up, but especially that you won't fall into feeling guilty about his illness. I know you loved him dearly (and still do) and did everything for him the best you knew.

It's amazing how deep the pain is but how the joy of the relationship so completely outweighs it.

Blessings.

Keep us updated on how you're coping.

Paco,

I'm still praying for you.

If experience is any guide, my brotherly love isn't going to be worth half as much to you as the love your dog shared with you. But, such as it is, I offer you love in Christ. I think the same goes for a lot of us.

Keep praying.

the end came suddenly -- far too suddenly -- but it was the right decision for my angel as his body was deteriorating, despite his mind being sharp

1 thing that jacked me up during his last days was the pet urn vendor messing up the plaque placement & delivery timeline -- this cost me time w/ my beloved

then, my stupid webcam reverted to the Windows mic during the last 2 days -- so i have video but not audio -- i lost it when i learned what had happened...

this dog was an Answer to prayer & a Blessing every day we shared -- we bonded instantly! -- "love @ 1st sight" in a different fashion -- we fought this disease hard for ~1 yr -- but it was an honor to take care for him as i did

am hopeful i'll see him again -- God has been trying to Comfort me in 1 unique way we have -- so i appreciate that but am not sure if He's Telling me "wait & you'll see him again" or "you took care of My Gift to you but now that role is over" -- "(fill in the blank)" -- dunno -- am still in a daze -- still going from being SAD to angry to numb

death sux for those left behind w/o the assurance their loved 1s will greet them in heaven

To Paco. God bless you for telling this difficult situation to total strangers. I had a dog named Duke and he ran away when I did find him he was very ill and needed to be put down. I opted to give him away to people that I thought could do a better job of helping him. I was not an adult at the time. I think about Duke a lot because he was given to me during a hard time in my life. There is a video online about a dog in his last stages and the "Father" of the dog has him floating in the water with him as he is either sleeping or about to pass away. I saw a picture of it and it looked like they were connected to GOD at the same time. I hop the best for your dog and yourself because I know that a pet is a family member as well. Keep reading the Bible and making your baby(dog) as loved as you can possible show. Love GOD as always...Loveisprecious
