I have e-sword installed on my new Dell PC. I love the NET and downloaded the e-sword module, but every time I try to run it, I get an error telling me that I first have to install e-sword! What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which version of e-sword did you install? I'm assuming the new one.

Which is a new change in the database.

And I'm thinking the NET module is still formatted for the old database.

So you would need to convert it.

The module conversion utility is at http://www.e-sword.net/extras.html

Yep, it was the new version.

Thanks for the info, Marv. I'll try that when I get back home, and let you know if it worked.

Well, I got the converter. Do you know how I use it?

Is it an executable file?

Yes. It installed the converter in my Program Files. When I click on it, it brings up a box asking for files to convert. When I put in the NET module, it says it succeeded in creating a new Bible database, but failed at opening it because it is password protected (?).

Oops, I forgot, it won't work on password protected modules.

I think you are going to have to wait a bit until we get the modules changed over.
