The NET bible has been on the bible.org home page for 2 weeks and it is now time to begin to make available the code for webmasters to put the NET bible tool set on their sites.
This will be developed in couple of ways
1- a general release like google search. That is a person will be directed to a page with permission/agreement statement and a link to a page were they can download a few lines of code to add the NET Bible search boxes or display the bible or daily reading to their site.
2- a cooperative release effort where the target site wants to have his material indexed and searched so it shows up in the "discover box"
I envision this happening in the following timeline
Develop the
general release effort first

2- a controlled release to say another 100 sites
......2a measure loading and responsiveness of the implementation (target schedule mid (oct-early nov)
3- general release to all (mid Nov assuming no major problems)
