I have moved the other posts which were under this sticky post to their own thread: "Lord" Instead of "LORD" for YHWH.

Hello,

I did a search on Psalms 51:10 and I get the following:(http://www.bible.org/netbible2/index.php)

51:10 Create for me a pure heart!1Transform me and give me integrity!2
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 sn The heart is viewed here as the seat of the psalmist's motives and moral character.
2 tn Heb "and a reliable spirit renew in my inner being."

If I look up the same verse from http://www.bible.org/netbible/index.htm
I get the following:

51:10 Create for me a pure heart, O God!29 Renew a resolute spirit within me!30

My printed First Edition printed version is like the latter. My question is which one is the most recent? I enjoyed the first translation very much.

Thanks,
Robert

In acts 22:29 in both the online and print version, the word had is duplicated. It says "... Paul was a Roman citizen and that he had had him tied up."

In the print version, the two occourences of had are on different lines, which is probably why nobody picked up the error. The online version has them right together, making it easy to spot.

The repeated word is actually correct. This is the past perfect (if I remember my English grammar correctly), and here it requires the repeated word.

I'm not sure that this is an error, as I could just be reading this passage incorrectly, but did want to post it here just in case. In Gen 38.29-30 it appears as though Zerah was the one who had the scarlet thread tied to his wrist because he stuck it out before his brother was born, but the notes (note #20) indicates that Perez was named that because he put his hand out before his brother (Zerah)

I'm not sure how to check to see if errors have already been reported, so if this has, please disregard. On the bottom of the notes in column 1 on page 1183, most of the sentence is repeated in the top of column 2 on the same page.

The 11:3 is printed with the wrong size font for no apparent reason.

In the sn5 for Exodus 6.3, the point is made that "God appeared to them in the significance of El Shadday. That is not his name." One of the references given to support this (Gen 48.2) appears to have nothing to do with this at all.

The sn2 in exodus 5.3 reads "Where did Moses get the idea that they should have a pilgrim feast & make sacrifices? God had only said they would serve Him in that mountain..."

Yet Exodus 3.18 has God telling Moses to go three days into the wilderness to sacrifice to Him.
