Anyone else tuning in to Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles? If so, what do you think about the plot progression thus far?

My wife and I have been remotely interested and have watched a couple of them. Last week for some reason Fox was off-air here and I didn't see it.

I think that it will be somewhat intrigueing for a couple of weeks and then tiresome. YOu can only go so far with such stories before you're doing the same thing over and over.

Personally I've always disliked anything where time-travel is possible. The problems with such conflicts in thought are ageless and insurmountable for me. Perhaps my wife is right and I think too much!

Blessings,
Randy

Surprisingly good and close to movie-like! I'm enjoying it.

Absolutely amazing! Then again, I've been fascinated with artificial intelligence since I was very young and read Asimov's robot stories. I liked the first Terminator movie and T2 should probably be in a top 1000 list of best movies. I was surprised to hear they were making a TV show and only found out a couple of weeks ago, after they had (prematurely) finished the first season, so I purchased all of the episodes off of Amazon and watched them on my computer.

The quality is especially good and the they have certainly captured the "feel" of the first two movies. Over the course of the episodes I began to think the characters John and Sarah were a little too whiny and timid, but I'm hoping they'll toughen up in the second season. Cameron (Summer Glau) is the primary reason I'm a fan right now, both because of her acting on this show (the ballerina episode was both chilling and poetic) and in Serenity/Firefly and because her character is mysterious and dangerous (again). She is an unknown Terminator model, but supposedly very advanced. There has also been some clues that she has a hidden agenda, which has lead to a lot of speculation on the internet. I'm curious to see how all that will play out in the next seasons and how her "human development" continues.

A pity that they didn't bring it back for a third season; the second season finale was very well done.

I really liked it and am sorry they didn't bring it back for a third season.
