good to know about the exercise & "according to your faith" stuff

am fairly conservative yet believe God Heals today -- if we didn't believe that than why do we all pray for it -- this isn't something i know much about but am certain some folks have this particular Gift -- am also certain some are frauds -- if they're on TBN, odds are they fall into the latter category

What you say is true.

Btw, by conservative, I suppose I meant to say those who really don't believe in the supernatural or divine healing.

If what you say is true, then I don't believe you'll find much fault in his teaching, not that he's perfect (since no one but Jesus is).

I've already listend to 4 tapes and so far I ain't heard anything I didn't like. I like to think of myself as a fairly conservative charismatic, so I don't think we would differ too far on our views of divine healing or the supernatural.

I think you have to take it in the text and meaning it was meant, eg diets have become a distraction from seeking God for intervention. Curry is not obese and looks healthy as, so I guess his statement was a little tongue in cheek re the fast foods but did note he enjoyed the regular coke but that's no big deal in my book anyway.

Personally I find the stress trying to eat healthy is likely to kill you quicker than the junk food anyway. It maybe ok for those that love rabbit food but those of us that enjoy a burger occasionally and chocolate etc it is high stress trying to avoid lols

I did forget to mention when he was in Aust he said similar re the diet bit but did say although he did not like his vegies enjoys his fruit and eats plenty of them. Whether this was a new fad or not I am not sure

Looking for folks to talk about Curry Blake. Went to his training and listened to hours and hours of his teaching. I believe God has anointed him to heal (though he would not call it that), but do not believe that all of his teachings are bibically accurate. In the New Testament, there is great indication that some sicknesses are connected to sin in a person's life. I understand that God has great grace for people and heals regardless of a person's condition, but there are scriptures that we cannot dismiss in regards to this. As far as comments on Curry's eating habits, let that be between he and the Lord. I believe good stewardship includes our body, but I would not rely on my wisdom, but God's power to keep me from disease.
