Messenger,

Just a hint. This forum has a feature that will automatically generate a link to a verse in the Bible (NET) if the citation is in a certain form. This makes it easy for the reader to view the text being cited. However, if the citation is in a different form the automatic link isn't provided.

For the sake of example, here is one reference: Rev 3:7 and here is another Psa 122:6 both from your post. Since I've followed the form, this post should appear with the links in place as soon as I submit it. If you hover over one of the bible citations, the text will appear.
You can cite a passage as well, as follows: Rev 3:7-12

Shalom.

The key of David is an allusion to Christ.

"Christ is also presented as the One who has the key of David, the One that opens in such a way that no man can shut, and the One who shuts so that no man can open. The description of Christ as He is introduced to the Philadelphian church is less similar to the vision of Christ in chapter 1 than any of the other presentations to the seven churches. He is declared in 1:18 to 'have the keys of hell and death.' Here the allusion seems to be to Isaiah 22:22 where, speaking of Eliakim the son of Helkiah, it is recorded that 'the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open...Christ, the great antitype of Eliakim, has the key of truth as holiness as well as to opportunity, service and testimony." John F. Walvoord, "The Revelation of Jesus Christ" a commentary, p. 84

When Christ returns and sits on the throne of David in the temple it will fulfill the Davidic covenant.

Hints to know the key of heaven:
John 3:3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
John 3:4 Nicodemus said to him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter his mother’s womb and be born a second time, can he?”
John 3:5 Jesus answered, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Heb 11:13 These all died in faith without receiving the things promised, but they saw them in the distance and welcomed them and acknowledged that they were strangers and foreigners on the earth.
Heb 11:14 For those who speak in such a way make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.
Heb 11:15 In fact, if they had been thinking of the land that they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.
Eph 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right.
Eph 6:2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment accompanied by a promise, namely,
Eph 6:3 “that it may go well with you and that you will live a long time on the earth.

Quote:
Luk 11:52 Woe to you experts in religious law! You have taken away the key to knowledge! You did not go in yourselves, and you hindered those who were going in.”
Mat 23:13 “But woe to you, experts in the law and you Pharisees, hypocrites! You keep locking people out of the kingdom of heaven! For you neither enter nor permit those trying to enter to go in.
Mat 3:16 After Jesus was baptized, just as he was coming up out of the water, the heavens opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming on him.
Mat 3:17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”
Mat 17:5 While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my one dear Son, in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!”

Baptism in the name of Jesus or hearing upon voice of Jesus Christ is the key to open heaven and close the door of Hades.
Act 2:38 Peter said to them, “Repent, and each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act 2:39 For the promise is for you and your children, and for all who are far away, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”
John 3:7 Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must all be born from above.’
