Another question I have is this (if you only have time to answer one, please answer the above!). Jesus said the only way to the Father is thru him. I can see God communicating to me in small ways every day... if Muslims and Jews are both worshiping the one, same God of Isreal, like us, but not accepting Jesus (and I understand why it is important to accept Jesus because otherwise how could be approach the Heavenly Father with all of our sins without the blood of Jesus canceling our sin for us)... and so many people have been lead astray by the false religion of Islam and God really wants even the Jews to accept Jesus (right?)... but if so many people are sort of on the right track by worshiping God but just not thru Jesus as He wants... is the Heavenly Father still giving these people signs since they are worshiping Him? I mean, I think some muslims' desire to please and worship God on a daily basis would be more desirable to God than a lukewarm Christian since God wants us to seek Him, right? I'm confused but it seems to me God wants our hearts on fire for Him (and to accept His son so that we can approach His throne - otherwise, we really can't with all of our sins)... but I sorta think that although God is not happy that they don't accept Jesus, He would be more pleased with them if their heart is on fire for Him than Christians that are self-centered and not seeking Him). Or maybe God views heart-on-fire-for-God Muslims and luke-warm Christians in the same light ... missing the mark?

well, Muslims are not worshipping God the Father so let's toss that notion

1 either has the Son or 1 does not -- it's not a matter of proximity

1 John 5:11-12

For one to be a theist - believing in God is a step in the right direction but it is not enough. Although they may be sincere they are sincerely wrong to reject Christ. Jesus said He was the only way to God.

John 14:6-7 "Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him." NIV

In addition, Allah and the God of Israel are different. Judaism and Islam have many differences but both do believe in God; however, many people believe in God and even go through the motions of worship but if they have not accepted Jesus as their Savior they are without hope.

James 2:19 "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder." NIV

The God that communicated to Moses and the prophets of the Old Testament is the same God who was finally and fully revealed in the person of God's Son, Jesus Christ.
Hebrews 1:1-2 wrote:
1 God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.

Anyone (Jew, Moslem, Hindu, or even "Christian") who rejects Jesus is rejecting God and, whatever that person may ostensibly be doing, he is not worshipping God. (I include "Christians" in the list because many who identify themselves as Christians are not truly born again and some "Christians" do not see that Christ is essential to having a relationship with God.)
John 5:19-23 wrote:
19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel. 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. 22 For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, 23 so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

That Moslems worship Allah who is their one one and only God does not mean that they are worshipping the One God who as existed from eternity as the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Regards.
