I really didn't pile much of bible knowledge
But I wish to know more about truth, and here I have a question.

God selected me even before the earth began.
That means, I am made to believe in God.

Is it right that I am saying?
If the fate really exists, .. what is their self- will?

I know God gave us the self- will that we can choose to believe God or not.

But there still is a matter about chosen person.

Am I chosen person? or, am I believing god in my own will?

I think chosen person is to believe god through any ways that inspired from one another
like that. But that one another is sent by the plan of god.
like that.. I'm confused about chosen to know god or having self-will to believe in God

He has indeed chosen all those who are His. It is not a matter of opposing "self-will" that has been regenerated by the Spirit of God and the choice of God. These belong together. By His Spirit, we are His and we freely call upon Him having been freed from our rebellion to seek Him. Self-will apart from the regenerating work of the Spirit is sin and it is bondage...it is never truly "free" other than to continue in sin. Granted there are others here who have a different perspective on this, but I offer this as a starting point for you. HERE is an article where you can find an extensive and helpful answer to your question.

As an aside, there is no "fate", but only the will of God.

Honestly, at this stage of the game, I really wouldn't concern myself with these things.
It's very easy to get confused and people will debate back and forth on this forever.

I don't believe in "fate", but I think Jesus summed it up very nicely when He said,
"You reap what you sow."

So...what do you want to sow? Go for it!

Beautiful answer Anti.

I disagree that we shouldn't "concern" ourselves with this topic. It is spoken of a lot in the Bible, making it important. Paul taught that our being chosen by God is a huge blessing - because it is the foundation of our present and future salvation. As believers we need not worry about earning or upholding our salvation, because God is the one in control. All who believe are chosen people, so that IS something we do not need to worry about.

As to your question, true, there is no "fate" but God is not like Allah. He does not directly cause everything but allows things to happen. It is God who decides who believes, but He does not decide if we as believers choose sin or obedience (because He frees us from our bondage as Anti said). Martin Luther said,
Quote:
I say that man, before he is renewed into the new creation of the Spirit's kingdom, does and endeavours nothing to prepare himself for that new creation and kingdom, and when he is re-created has does and endeavors nothing towards his perseverance in that kingdom; but the Spirit alone works both blessings in us, regenerating us, and preserving us when regenerate, without ourselves..."

God selected those that accept His forgiveness to be His children and that was decided before time began for us. Just as in the parables God invites everyone 9we all have an invitation) but some refuse.

God is not going to override your free will and force you to go (it is not loving to force mature adults to do stuff they do not want to do).
