"Greco-Roman" is not a term in the Bible.
"Greco-Roman" is usually referred to the Greek and Roman mythology, or sports (ie. greco-roman wrestling), usually the culture of the Mediterranean people specifically during the times of the Greek Empire and Roman Empire before Jesus was born.

These people may have had access to the Hebrew Holy Scriptures, the Old Testament, perhaps even the LXX text, but not the New Testament, since Messiah had not yet come the first time.

The promise of a Messiah and Saviour were given to the Jews, and we read about that in the Old Testament. The Jews as a people, therefore, were expecting this promised one, the one we know was Jesus.

However, non-Jews, or gentiles, did not have those promises and were therefore not expecting him. The Greco-Romans were the Romans and the Greeks, and these civilisations based around the Mediterranean Sea were gentiles with their own religions. The Greco-Roman period of history includes the time when the Greek civilisation was at its height through to the time of the Roman Empire - say about 400BCE to about 400AD. These peoples did not believe in the one true God of the Bible. They did not expect Jesus because they did not know the promises that had been given to God's people. After Jesus had come, many Greeks and Romans believed the gospel message. Paul's epistles in the New Testament were written during the time of the Roman Empire, and some were written specifically to people who were Greeks (e.g. Corinthians, Thessalonians, Philippians). Indeed, the official religion of the later Roman Empire was Christianity.

As we read the Acts of the apostles in the New Testament, it is interesting to see that Jews and Gentiles alike accepted the Gospel. The church was, and is, made up of people from all sorts of backgrounds who have believed one Gospel, and put their faith in the one Saviour, being made into one people by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Epistle to the Ephesians contains a wonderful passage (Chapters 2 and 3) where Paul writes about the wonder of two peoples - Jews and Gentiles - being made into one people, the people of God.

some of the Greeks and Romans did accept Jesus. The early apostles like Paul were able to establish churches in places like Turkey, Greece, and Rome. As these first churches grew and sent out their own missionaries, the message gradually spread to new areas throughout the Roman empire
