Since transitioning from e-Sword to version 3 of Costas Stergiou's free Bible study software, 'The Word,' I've had no desire to go back. Costas has given us a jewel here and just last week he released an updated version 3.1.5.1074 that fixes several minor bugs in the previous iteration and adds some new features. If you're a new user, you'll want to download the "Main package." If you're upgrading from a previous release of version 3, you'll want to download the "Binary only package."

One really neat feature of theWord is that ALL your resources are fully searchable (and with boolean search capability!).

Hi David, 'TheWord' Bible Study Software look real good, when I try to download it my
Kaspersky internet Security blocks it from down loading.It tells me the software is not safe, I have went a head and tried to down load it several times to no avail.
I guess the only way to down load it would be to take Kaspersky internet Security off while I down load which I would hesitate to do.
any other suggestions

I use Panda Cloud Antivirus and have had no download problems with theWord, but I do know that security programs must be temporarily disabled to download some files. Maybe yours doesn't like the fact that theWord contains macros? Anyway, I have had to disable my security software to download programs from trusted sources in the past and doing so has never been a problem. Just be sure you trust the source. And in this case, I don't think you have any worries so long as you are at the real website: http://www.theword.gr/
