Welcome to the Bible in a Year forum! If you join us every day, at the end of the year you will have read the entire Bible!

The way this is set up is so that you read a little from the OT and little from the NT and something from Psalms and Proverbs everyday. Please use the threads for each day to post your comments and/or questions about the scriptures for that day. (Please join the "Bible in a Year Usergroup" to post - check your User Control Panel)

We are glad you're with us! Happy Reading!!!

I am just finishing up reading through the Bible in 2011.

Who has a reading plan for 2012?

I’m doing something a little different in 2012. I created my own plan for my daughter (and me). The plan will take us through the four Gospels and the book of Acts in a year.

Going from Genesis to Revelation in order 1 can get bogged down -- whether it be Leviticus or Jeremiah, some Books are simply tough to work your way through -- I've seen 1 where you read through the Bible into 7 different sections -- i do it a lil' differently -- they suggest going across the columns each day -- i go down till the particular Book is finished then go to the next column & repeat -- i print out the chart & cross off the cells as i go through them -- mixes things up for me -- link is below (unless it's deemed inappropriate)

search on "Bible reading plan" & many options will materialize

another idea is to read a different Bible version each yr

The reading plan that we have posted here is not year specific. Maybe you could use it.

There are also a number of plans on our home page:
