I'm more into baking because I can get the pleasure of trying a nibble of my latest concoction and then share it with everyone at work. Much better than my waistline bearing the brunt of the victuals.

Books and reading - We are a household of readers that makes almost weekly trips to the library! I collect, however, good children's literature.

I also collect unique cookie jars. I used to collect snowmen - but I've had to start putting limits on things because of space constraints.

Just this past summer I started teaching myself to crochet AND I started creating woven baskets and rugs using hula hoops and embroidery hoops as looms and old t-shirts.

Oh and keeping my daughter from blowing something up when she is getting all engineery on us!

I can bake but I don't (thankfully my daughters and husband like to do this), am an okay cook, and a pretty lazy housekeeper - But I can wield a fire extinguisher like a pro!

I have several hobbies. I do bird watching, reading, studying biblical languages and biblical research. I heave firearms and do some hunting including archery. I collect coins and old books if they are theological or biblical in nature.

swimming, reading painting, scrabble, sudoku (gotta give that up - it's addicting), annoying DH when he's busy and teasing Cat - who loves to be teased.

The most addicting hobby I have ever done is the World of Warcraft. Don't try it if you value your time.

I don't remember who started this thread any more! Someone mentioned the Gimp program, and I just wanted to second that. I love Linux! No crashes, no viruses, and free software! They have a professional level web design program as well. I've done a little web design, and thought I could handle that program, but it really is for people who know what they're doing.

Favorite hobbies, spinning wool, beading, painting, gardening (not that anyone would know lately!) cooking, reading, hiking, and participating in Christian forums
