II. The first day. The generations of the heaven and the earth (Gen 2:4), the book of the

generations of Adam (Gen 5:1) and the book of the generation of Jesus Christ (Mat 1:1).

1. The book of the generations of Adam are unlike the generations of the heaven and the

earth (Gen 2:4). The generations of the heaven and the earth were made by the word of the LORD;

and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth (Psa 33:6).

2. Adam was formed from the dust of the ground and his faith was required in order for him

to believe and live from the foundation of the world. When Adam was created and made, there was

no need for a book.

a. Once Adam lost his faith and hearkened unto the voice of his wife, his faith could no

longer sustain him. And for Adam the earth became without form, and void; and darkness was upon

the face of the deep. Without faith, Adam could not stay. Adam and Eve’s earthly tabernacle

dissolved and they knew that they were naked (Gen 3:5, 2 Cr 5:3)
b. And the LORD God said, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil:

and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live

forever”.
c. One must provide faith and give record of the generations of Adam, grounding man

spiritually in the earth from the foundation of the world.
d. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made

a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural;

and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is

the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the

heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we

shall also bear the image of the heavenly (I Cr 15:45-49). Thus, Adam comes forth, as it is

written in the book of the generations of Adam.

3. With faith in the Word, the Lamb was slain and taketh away the sin of Adam. There was

life in the Word and the life was the light of men, from the foundation of the world as it is

written in the book of life of the Lamb.

a. Adam, no longer able to put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat,

and live for ever, was under the specifications of his world, as recorded in the book of the

generations of Adam. Therefore the ground was cursed for Adam’s sake and in sorrow shall he eat

of it all the days of his life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to him; and he

shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of his face shall he eat bread, till he returns to

the ground; for out of it was he taken: “for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return”.
b. In order for man to return to the garden and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and

live forever, he must come forth naturally in the world and, according to the law, one without

sin must sacrifice his life and take away the sin of the world and redeem man to God.
c. But first, man must live from the foundation of the world and names written in the book

of life of the Lamb.

4. The second day. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in

his generations, and Noah walked with God; and Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth;

the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

a. The generations of Noah and the generations of the sons of Noah were founded on the

Lamb’s faith in the Word. The generations of Adam came forth, from that written in the book of

the generations of Adam, according to The Word of God.
b. The corruption of the earth must be cleansed. God promises that he will establish his

covenant with Noah and his generations, whose names were written in the book of life. He was

commanded to build an ark and by the waters of the Lamb, all life was destroyed with a flood

upon the earth.
c. The third day. Noah and those with him in the ark survive the flood. The flood ended and

the generations of the sons of Noah stepped out of the ark onto dry land.
d. God established his covenant with the generations of the Noah and his sons.
e. They were given every green herb and every moving thing that liveth for meat. It is

significant that every tree, in the which is fruit of a tree yielding seed is not included as

meat.

5. The fourth part of the earth: the book of the generation of Jesus Christ the son of

Abraham the son of David (Mat 1:1). Jesus taketh away the sin of the world with his blood

sacrifice (Jhn 1:29), and with the book of life gives life for evermore; for there the LORD

commanded the blessing (Psa 133:3).

Blessings,
Ken

II. The first day. The generations of the heaven and the earth (Gen 2:4), the book of the generations of Adam (Gen 5:1) and the book of life of the Lamb (Rev 13:8, Rev 31:27).

1. The book of the generations of Adam are unlike the generations of the heaven and the earth (Gen 2:4). The generations of the heaven and the earth were made by the word of the LORD; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth (Psa 33:6). The generations of Adam come forth from that written in the book of the generations of Adam, according to The Word of God. The generations of Noah and the generations of the sons of Noah were founded on the Lamb’s faith in the Word.

2. The Holy Spirit created man from the waters. There went up a mist that watered the whole face of the ground, and the LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground. By faith only, man lived and walked with God in the garden in Eden, in the day when man was created and made.

a. Once Adam lost his faith and hearkened unto the voice of his wife, his faith could no longer sustain him. And for Adam the earth became without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. b. And the LORD God said, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”.
c. One must provide faith and give record of the generations of Adam, grounding man spiritually in the earth from the foundation of the world and redeem man’s body to God.

3. With faith in the Word, the Lamb was slain and taketh away the sin of Adam. There was life in the Word and the life was the light of men, from the foundation of the world as it is written in the book of life of the Lamb.

c. God gave his covenant to Abraham and his seed in their generation (Gen 17:9).

6. The fourth day and fourth part of the earth (Rev 6:8): the book of the generation of Jesus Christ the son of Abraham the son of David (Mat 1:1). You have obviously spent a great deal of time thinking about these things, but your conclusions are simply contrary to the actual words of Scripture when read in the order God places them. Here is an example:

Quote:

The earth was without form and void before Adam was made, not after Adam sinned. Your position attempts to correct the Bible rather than to understand the Bible, I am not saying that this is your intent, but you are actually setting the meaning which God provided by His choice to inspire the words of the Bible in various literary forms and in given contexts, and rearranging those texts based upon the occurrence of particular words.

You thus can make the Bible say almost anything, but you are actually making it say nothing, because the authority has moved from the Divine Author to the human who rearranges.

That is correct. The earth was without form and void when Lucifer denied his faith, as described in Isa 14:12. When the Spirit of God created man from the waters, and the breath of the LORD gave him life (Gen 2:6-7), Adam did not know this. However, when Adam denied his faith and hearkened unto the voice of his wife, it was then apparent to him and he became naked and would die.

The Bible was written as it was written to reveal God to the ancients, not to totally confuse them. However, living in a time after the writing of the book of Revelation and after the discovery of E=MC2, we can better see the meaning God wants us to see in this generation.

II. The Generations.

1. The first day. the generations of the heaven and the earth (Gen 2:4), the book of life of the Lamb (Rev 13:8, Rev 31:27), the book of the generations of Adam (Gen 5:1) and the generations of Noah (Gen 6:9).

a. These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, before every plant and every herb of the field was in the earth; before the LORD God had caused it to rain upon the earth, when there was not a man to till the ground.
b. The generations of the heaven and the earth were made by the word of the LORD; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth (Psa 33:6) and through faith, lived.
c. Lucifer denied his faith, corrupting the Creation and darkness was upon the face of the deep.
d. Man was created to provide a source of faith and light the heaven and the earth of the Creation.

2. The Holy Spirit created man from the waters. There went up a mist that watered the whole face of the ground, and the LORD God formed man from the dust of the ground. By faith alone, man lived and walked with God in the garden in Eden, in the day when man was created and made.

a. Once Adam lost his faith and hearkened unto the voice of his wife, his faith could no longer sustain him. And for Adam the earth became without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Adam and Eve’s earthly tabernacle dissolved and they knew that they were naked (Gen 3:5, 2 Cr 5:3) and Adam will die on this day, the day when he was created and made.
b. And the LORD God said, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”.
c. One must, through faith in righteousness, become “flesh” with the waters, die for Adam’s sin and redeem the flesh to God spiritually in the earth from the foundation of the world.

3. With faith in the Word, the Lord becomes flesh, was slain and taketh away the sin of Adam. There was life in the Word and the life was the light of men, as it is written in the book of life of the Lamb, from the foundation of the world.

a. Adam, no longer able to put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever, was under the specifications of his world, as recorded in the book of the generations of Adam. Therefore the ground was cursed for Adam’s sake and in sorrow shall he eat of it all the days of his life; thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to him; and he shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of his face shall he eat bread, till he returns to the ground; for out of it was he taken: “for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return”.
b. In order to return to the garden and also take of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever, those of the book of the generations of Adam must come forth naturally in the earth, and a sinless blood sacrifice given and take away sin to redeem the generations of man to God.
c. But man must first live from the foundation of the world and names written in the book of life of the Lamb.
d. And so it is written, the first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly. And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly (I Cr 15:45-49). Thus, the first man Adam comes forth, as it is written in the book of the generations of Adam, and he died.
e. These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God and found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth; the earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
f. God said that he would destroy all life on earth, but that he would establish his covenant with Noah and his generations.
g. God commanded Noah to build an ark.

4. The second day and the corruption of the earth must be cleansed.

a. Noah and all that were with him were commanded to go into the ark.
b. By the waters of the Lamb, all life was destroyed with a flood upon the earth.
c. The names of the generations of Noah were written into the book of life of the Lamb

5. The third day. The flood ended and Noah and those with him in the ark survive the flood. The generations of the sons of Noah stepped out of the ark onto dry land.

a. God established his covenant with the generations of Noah and his sons.
b. They were given every green herb and every moving thing that liveth, for meat (Gen 9:3-4). It is significant that every tree, in the which is fruit of a tree yielding seed is not included as meat. Man has yet to be redeemed by the blood.
c. God gave his covenant to Abraham and his seed in their generation (Gen 17:9).

6. The fourth day and fourth part of the earth (Rev 6:8): the book of the generation of Jesus Christ the son of Abraham the son of David (Mat 1:1). Jesus taketh away the sin of the world with his blood sacrifice (Jhn 1:29), and, as it is written in the book of life of the Lamb, gives life for evermore; for there the LORD commanded the blessing (Psa 133:3).

Cheers,

ken

The story continues.
I.
6. The fourth day and fourth part of the earth; and God saw that it was good (Rev 6:8). The book of the generation of Jesus Christ the son of Abraham and the son of David (Mat 1:1). On Good Friday Jesus gave his sinless blood offering on the cross at Calvary, remained dead Holy Saturday and rose again Easter Sunday according to the Scriptures. Jesus taketh away the sin of the world (Jhn 1:29) and destroyed the temple that is made with hands, and within three days built another made without hands (Mar 14:58). So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation (Hbr 9:28). Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hbr 12:2). As it is written in the book of life of the Lamb; for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore (Psa 133:3).

7. The seven angels of the Spirit of God sounded the seven trumpets at the second coming of Jesus Christ, the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets (Rev 10:7). And heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war (Rev 19:11). His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself (Rev 19:12). And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God (Rev 19:13).

Cheers,

Ken

Lucifer is a Latin word and not a Hebrew or an Aramaic name. The verse you are referring to does not mention any person by name, instead it uses three descriptions to refer to a person; "morning star", "son of the dawn", "you who mowed down the nations" are the descriptions used. So the natural question to ask is "who are those descriptions referring to?" Verse four identifies who is being addressed in the "song" with these words "you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon: ..."

In the Vulgate the description "morning star" is translated by a Latin word "lucifer". Lucifer is not a name and we should not treat it as if it were one.

Many Catholic commentators in the middle ages (and some in ancient times) saw the song mentioned in verse four as having a spiritual meaning that is applicable to Satan, so they treated the song that we see in verses 4b through 21 as having a spiritual application to Satan but they were well aware that the normal grammatical and historical meaning of the song is a taunt against the king of Babylon.

DailyBread,

Thank you for posting your thoughts.

In response: I do not have any contention with that philosophy whatsoever. I believe that through that understanding, many sinners have come to Christ, given their hearts to him and are given everlasting life.

However, from the premise of this understanding, that does not work. Reading the Scriptures with the modern perspective God has given us through prophets of old, there are entirely different conclusions to be found, which also bring forth the fruit of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You can agree or disagree, it makes no difference. Finding Christ and your service to him is the main purpose of His Holy Word. If you have done that you are blessed and have correctly understood. And there is always more, for ”Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand” (Rev 1:3).

Good Will,

ken

I.
8. The fifth day and an angel from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him in the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

There are thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. The first resurrection of the beloved of Jesus Christ, those who gave their lives for the witness of Jesus, and for the Word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

And God said, “Let the waters (the beloved of Christ) bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.” And God created great sea monsters, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind; and God saw that it was good.

Good Will,

ken

All Scripture is from The Authorized King James Version of the Bible.
It is important that KJV be your source document.

Jesus loves you! Listen to him.
I know nothing, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
Amen & Aman

It is faith in Jesus Christ that is important, not knowledge regarding specific details of the Scriptures. Just like the many different revivions of the Bible, there are many different ways to find Christ.

1Jo 2:2 KJV - And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Good Will,

ken
