I don't understand what it is you are asking. What do you mean by "using the blood of Jesus and Holy Ghost fire"? Do you mean pleading for the blood of Jesus to cover someone/something and the fire of the Holy Spirit to consume? Or do you mean using those terms in prayer? Being honest, I'm really not sure what you want to know about. Sorry.

I MEAN COVERING SOMEONE / SOMETHING WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS, AND OR USING HOLY GHOST FIRE TO CONSUME SOMETHING, ESPECIALLY, ENEMIES

When praying for enemies I always pray that the Holy Spirit get 'em...and by that I mean: Have mercy on them Lord as you have on me and let your Holy Spirit change them into the image they were created to be. As Jesus said, pray for those that use you and are your "enemies" and bless them. Let the LORD vindicate you if He so chooses, but pray for mercy and leave the rest to Him. At least that's my take on it...

I'm not familiar with Holy Ghost fire to consume enemies. The Holy Ghost came upon the Christians at Pentecost like tongues of flame. It certainly didn't destroy anyone, it saved them.

There are places where fire came down from heaven and consumed the wicked, but nothing about the Holy Ghost consuming with fire. Do you have a biblical reference to what you are talking about.

As for covering with the blood of Jesus, that would save people too.

So I guess I don't understand what you are asking. It sounds like you want to destroy people, but you are using terms that would be saving them.

So which is it? Are you praying to save or to destroy?

If destroy, why would you pray that? Aren't we told to love our enemies?

Canice,

I don't think it's necessarily bad to pray that way unless one is trying to use those words as though they had some kind of magical power, but I can't say it's good to pray that way either. The reason I can't say that it's good is that Scripture does not tell us to pray that way, nor does the Bible give us examples of anyone who prayed that way. So biblically speaking, there's no reason to think God wants us to pray using those words. If we serve God and trust in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior then we can pray against the enemy (Satan) with authority and power. There's no need for us to use any special words or formulas in our prayers.

Hi canice, I do not have an understanding of these terms in practical use but Luke 9:53-56 may help. "But the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. When the desciples James and John saw this, they asked, "Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them?" But Jesus turned and rebuked them, and they went to another village. This is from the NIV bible.

I've heard of this. see the 2nd paragraph at the link....
http://nigeriaworld.com/feature/publica ... 11101.html

Some of the charismatic teachers in 3rd world countries teach that with faith God will do your will and attack your enemies, etc....

It's all part of the money money money salvation path.

I think you guys will get the gist really fast.

Canice, I'd say that you can pray for that all you want.... But God says we are to pray for HIS will to be done. I don't think he changes His mind for our demands. I don't think he would UNLOVE someone and burn them with fire because they were your enemy, unless it was already his plan to do so.
