I was thinking that having an online church might not be a bad idea for people confined to their homes, those who are curious about Christ, or those in between churches. I haven't done anything with it, except put together a skeleton website. Please take a look at it and tell me what you think.

I think online churches are a good idea, and there are a number of them that exist in the virtual world of Second Life. I pastor The Vine Christian Community Church in Second Life and am able to encourage Christians and to lead nonChristians to the Lord using this virtual world.

I have also seen various websites that are "online churches," but I do not know how they track their membership, they do not present their services in real time or via chat room but in static web pages.

For Bible.org, a chat room might be a good venue for an online church.
