There is a little note indicating the current time near the upper right hand corner of the main page. It's an hour ahead of my local time.

My local time is EST. Is the time indicator on AST? EDT?

No big deal. But couldn't it be fixed?

Either the DST (Daylight Saving Time...which it seems to indicate) has not changed and, thus, those of us who use DST are off by one hour....or....its the sign of the end (...the Mayans must have changed our time)!!!! :alien:

EDT means Eastern Daylight Time.

Yeah, I think it's probably a failure to remove the daylight savings time clock shift. The boundary dates for DST have changed in the last few years.

The Mayan thing looks like another "great disappointment". Especially in southwestern France!

Strider, check your User Control Panel > Board preferences > global settings.
Make sure your timezone is correctly set and that your option for "Summer Time/DST is in effect" is "No".

Thanks, Gideon!

That did the trick. Somehow, I had DST set to on. Maybe I myself set it to on in October, and forgot to set it to off in November.
I just don't recall.

The time is correct here in Michigan with the time in the upper right hand corner.
