Hi,

I found the King James Version (w/ Strong's) is bundled with the newest version of e-Sword (v. 7.8.5), it can not be removed. No matter how you do, it is always restored back by calling "windows installer". Does anyone know how to remove this version? Thanks...

In C:\Program Files\e-Sword there should be a file named "kjv+.bbl" Delete it if you with to get rid of the default King James translation. If you have any other e-sword questions, email me at bseagraves-at-bible.org.

Thanks Brian,
Yes, the KJV (w/Strong's) is under "C:\Program Files\e-Sword" folder, and named "kjv+.bbl". It's not that simple just to delete it. Once you delete it, there is a "windows installer" window pops up, and retrieves the kjv+.bbl file from "C:\Windows\Downloaded Installations\{8CBA......}\e-Sword.msi" No matter what you do, it always comes back. Perhaps you may try it. Thanks again..

I did try before recommending it. It worked for me. Sorry.

Many thanks! Brian.
Probably it's different version. I'll try again.

I have four computers, all are installed Windows XP SP2. One of them I had to reinstall OS last week. That is the one has this problem, I installed the newest version of e-Sword v.7.8.5. , which I download the full version from e-Sword website. The others the e-Sword were upgraded from v.7.7.7 to v.7.8.5. Thanks...
