I seem to be having a repeated problem posting as follows:

Having read a post, hit reply ... type away (and that usually takes me quite some time) ... hit submit ... asked to log in.
Log in ... empty window appears ... all my typing gone.

Sometimes it is perhaps my fault - I did not log in first. Sometimes, just a time lapse since I did.

Previously, I think we were asked to log in before the empty posting window appeared? That way, the "problem" didn't occur.

Perhaps it is just me - no probs - I'll try and discipline myself to get the order ocrrect!

Hey Sally if you select the "log in automatically" button then this shouldn't be a problem. The board is set to automatically time a user out after a period of inactivity. I will recheck the settings and post back in the morning of the length of inacivity before you log out.

You may also want to post your replies in "notepad" then paste them in (hehe I do that when I have a lot to say" ;)

If you hit enter and it has timed you out - you can hit the back arrow and save your work.

I'll look for it avid, since I've selected the "remember me" button it no longer shows up, I'll try it on a different computer without the cookies I have here to let you know where it is..

pastor john, thanks for that tip I had forgotten that you could do that :)
