I was just wondering what are some of your thoughts of the best small group material for spiritual formation. I know there are a few on this site "Equipping the Saints" and "Taking the Journey." Any ideas or thoughts?

it really depends on where your group is up to spiritually ... a good beginners series is "Choose the Life" by Bill Hull
http://bible.org/series/choose-life

for those who want deeper studies then Richard Foster's "Celebration of Discipline"
with study guide, and his other books eg "Life with God"

Then there is Dallas Willard there are his classic "The Spirit of the Disciplines" and "Renovation of the Heart"
