In the near future, I'll be teaching about God's wisdom and power to some pre-teens. Could you think of how this topic would apply to the life of a pre-teen?

It is a topic that every teen (indeed, everyone) needs to hear. We need God's wisdom to know how we ought to live in a way that is pleasing to Him and what one does with this wisdom must be addressed. As to the power of God...we need His power in all things. Salvation itself is not of us, but of Him and His all-powerful working for and in us. And His power will enable us to live according to His ways.

Were you looking for something more specific than just this generalization? Are you looking for certain Scriptures, themes, examples of the use of such (both positively and negatively)?

Can you think of any specific situations where pre-teens would need to have God's wisdom?
