Isaiah and Romans have the same theme: salvation is by grace alone apart from works. Isaiah is broken down into three sections with each chapter a discourse by Isaiah regarding the condition of the kingdom of Judah. As you begin prayerfully consider how God would have you use the truths in this book for your own life.

Our verse for this quarter seems to sum up best the book's content, although it is not the key verse for the book. After much prayer and considering I have chosen Isaiah 30:15 For this is what the master, the Lord, the Holy One of Israel says: “If you repented and patiently waited for me, you would be delivered; if you calmly trusted in me you would find strength, but you are unwilling.
