Just maybe the next pastor would need some solid Christians to suport him---someone who would stand on the Word 1Corinthians 12:12; 1Corinthians 10:12

Watch out for people who try to dazzle you---they want to drage you of into endless arguments that never amount to anything---that's not the way of Christ---His fulness comes togather for you, His power extends over everything.

> I do research to help our Pastors. My Berean sensibilities seem to be my stewardship gift. I use inductive reasoning. Additionally I share my Christian faith wherever I go. One of my favorites "This Little Light of Mine."

> Have any of you read Note to Self: The Discipline of Preaching to Yourself by Joe Thorn? There is an excellent chapter called "Don't be a Fanboy." I recommend it for any Christian as a daily reminder to know yourself and your God given talents in the many membered body.

Personal disagreement here in a respectful manner:

Actually there is a large body of historically available information out there on Early Christianity. I am an avid church history reader. Perhaps some of you may be interested in one of my posts on St. Polycarp.

Others may want to do a web search on " Cumberland Presbyterian Church " An interesting denomination that isn't completely denominational

One of our Pastors graduated from the Memphis Seminary (one of the two branch sister Cumberland Presbyteries). He is a gifted from birth musician. The other graduated with his Masters of Theology from Asbury College, KY (non-denominational). He comes to our church from a personal variety of denominational backgrounds. His particular stewardship studies are in Church History and Berean Writings.

We are very fortunate to have two Pastors with different background of experiences and expertise that lends our church to nondenominalism in a denomination.
