Hi to all, I just now joined. I am 48 yrs old, happily married, and the mother of two grown children. I enjoy bible discussions, bible studies, prayer, art, cross stitching, love reading all manner of books, especially books from the historical voices of Christianity.
I hope to connect with others here and hope to find friends here.

welcome -- this is a slower paced forum than many i've seen but i appreciate that -- gives folks time to ponder & formulate meaty posts -- unless it's a political thread as then people just flail away

check out the zillion articles too as they have much to offer

thank you for the welcome! That is okay that it is slower paced, I love pondering, and wonder if contemplation might be a near lost art. I appreciate politics, but it seems a waste of my time and energy to invest too much strength into it. I like being the sojourner in this world and though I value healthy, balanced patriotism, I do tend to want to walk away from discussions if there is bit too much fanaticism flailing about.
I will check out the articles, are there any articles you have preferences to?
I like my avatar as well, seems very peaceful and very much a place Id like to visit one day. = )
