We are excited to give you a 2005 end-of-year report for the bible.org ministry. Internet growth and usage trends have opened-up amazing doors for bible.org as a leading online ministry. From China to New Zealand - we have been able to serve individuals through
http://www.bible.org . From Africa to South America – we have been able to equip Christian leaders to reach tens-of-millions for Christ.
This year we were able to:
* Directly serve almost 4 million people. over 1 million more than we served last year
* Release the First Edition of the NET Bible. the only modern English Bible translation in the world offered completely free for ministry purposes
* Add more than 1,000 new trustworthy resources to the website including new authors, great men's ministry resources, sermons on many new topics, additional discipleship tools and many more
* Offer The Theology Program (TTP) - the first and highest quality systematic theology training program online - for free including full audio, video and text resources for growing Christians
* Partner with churches around the world to offer TTP to help Christians "Reclaim the Mind for Christ"
The Internet has become the first place people turn to for information – from secular to spiritual information. And the Lord has used bible.org as an oasis in the desert for those looking for an online place with trustworthy information. We will be faithful to this call and sensitive to this need as we continue to serve as the largest source of free trustworthy Bible study resources on the Internet. Here are some of our additional opportunities for 2006.
* Serve 5 Million people directly with free trustworthy Bible study resources and millions more indirectly as those we serve teach and train others all over the world.pastors, missionaries, Bible teachers, scholars, lay leaders and you
* Serve alongside exciting ministries like Global Pastors Network and their more than 80 major global ministry partners to reach 1 billion souls for Christ in this generation. I urge you to learn more about this amazing project and vision begun by Bill Bright with Campus Crusade for Christ before his death
* Expand the bible.org Church Partnership Program where we work passionately to assist pastors and church leaders for greater impact
* Continue to advance our vision – to see a maturing world where all people:
o Attain the knowledge of the Son of God
o Become mature in Christ, and be.
o Competent to teach and train others
