Thank you for your kind remarks.
I do so miss spending time here. Know, though, that while my schedule prevents me from spending more time posting, my heart is here. And I do check in to read posts. |

| I notice this thread started years ago. Hope the guy is saved by now. I think it helps for someone to pray along the lines of "God, if you exist, show me." If I'm praying for someone whose not saved, or a brother or sister who are struggling with something that they think may be "too... |

| I took a course once entitled "The Prophets." Our instructor would always tie it back to what was happening in Israel, and later Israel and Judah. It was very helpful in understanding their history better, and what the prophets role was during those times. Really fleshed it out. Class disc... |

| Just so we're clear. I still struggle with anger. Sometimes it's righteous, most times it's not. What I do find helpful though, and what puts Satan in his place as well as gets my heart at least closer to the right place is prayer. Most times the wording isn't what's important so much as 1.) By pray... |

Have you tried praying for them?
Pray that they get everything you want for yourself, in terms of your relationship with Jesus. |

| I am always amazed when I hear this. Not sure why. The early church (1st & 2nd centuries) never had an issue with the deity of Christ, rather, it was his humanity that was in question. All he has to do is read a bit of church history and, in particular, the history of the errors (heresies) which... |

The NHC/NWS has issued coastal flooding and high winds, with gusts up to hurricane speed. We live about 3/4 of a mile from the water, but are well situated above the surge (45 ft)... |
