All about me!

Welcome to all about me. Let’s see where to begin:

I’m a wife and mom, former member of the USAF, musician, song writer.  I’ve taught Sunday School, been the children’s Ministry Director, Children’s choir director, music teacher, TKD instructor…I think that it is a nut shell.

I’ve been married for about 14 years, give or take that time we (my husband and I) were divorced – now THERE’S a story!  We have 3 mostly wonderful boys, 15, 13 and 9.  When your kids reach that magically crazy insane psychotic  wonderful number 13 it is a WHOLE new ball game!

Before we moved here to the land where everything really is bigger (Texas ) I was on the praise team at church (singing and playing my bass guitar), the Children’s Ministry directory, Asst. Children’s Sunday School director, and the Children’s Choir Director.  All of which helped me follow both of my passions – making soldiers for God’s Army and using the talent which He blessed me with to bless others!

Since moving to Texas we have tried numerous churches, most of which were either way to big (we felt lost in the sea of people who we would only see briefly as we walked in or out of the church building – no real sense of accountability or community) or had doctrine that was clearly contradictory to scripture, either by adding things or removing things.

We have started going to a new church and are still praying for God to let us know if this is where he wants us to be.  We know we’ve located to the right state we need to follow Gods leading for the place that He needs us!

Ok here is my list of Favorites:

FAVORITE PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE:  Psalm 150

FAVORITE BOOK OF THE BIBLE:  Proverbs – It is SO full of practical everyday wisdom, I refer to it as my common sense manual.

FAVORITE QUOTE: “Cleaning your house while your kids are still growing is like shoveling the sidewalk while it’s still snowing!” – author unknown

PET PEEVE:  I have 2 actually.  Swerving1) People who drive their cars like they were playing a video game – I pray A LOT when I’m driving…I’m asking God’s blessing on these people, although at time I seem to pray through clenched teeth while I’m gripping my steering wheel!

2) Fake Christians – you know the ones, on Sunday they show up at church in their Sunday best with their fake smiles and fake hugs, the sincerity in which they try to talk and act is so insincere and superficial it is very transparent!  These are the same people that if you were to see them in a setting other than Church you would have NO idea that they were Christians who are disciples of the Living God!  It makes you want to get down on your knees and pray for God to use you to show how an authentic Christian behaves – both at Church as well as Monday -  Saturday!

Ok rant off

I have been a volunteer for Bible.org for many many years now and I thank God that he has led me here.  I’ve been blessed to have a wonderful volunteer staff at the forum that prays for me (as I do for them) as well as praying for the forum and ALL’s it’s members!

As you use the forum and browse through the blogs here know that you are prayed for and loved!  May God use these things to bless you!  Here is my prayer for YOU:Angel Praying 2

Psalm 115:15  May you be blessed by the Lord, the creator 1  of heaven and earth! NET
