Welcome to the Bible NETwork's staff Blogs!
Over at the www.bible.org forum also known as the "Bible NETwork" we have a dedicated team of volunteers that help with the administration and moderation. They are the heart of our forums and we would like to take some time to introduce them to you so that you can get to know who they are and where their passions lie. Below you will find each team members name and a brief overlook of what their blog is all about. Just click on a name and you will be taken to their own personal "About me" page.
Jennifer: Full time Christian, wife, mom. Administrator and Personnel Manager of the forums at Bible.org. Blessed to have grown up in the Church Jennifer has always found ways to serve others. As an adult she has served in her Church as the Children's Ministry Director, Sunday School coordinator and Children's Choir Director. Married for 14 years with three boys. She is currently the Personnel Manager and the Administrator of the forums hosted here at Bible.org. Mike: Mike is our Assistant Administrator for the Bible.org forums. In addition he is the moderator for the Forum known affectionately as "The Garage" (Men's Discussion) and also oversees the Theology Forum (6-Theology) with a closer eye on 6b-General Theological Discussion and 6f-Theological Library. Areas of particular interest include Early Church history, the history of doctrine (Trinity and Grace) and discipleship. Mike became a Christian in 1981. Mike has served various churches in a number of different capacities ranging from committee member to elder. He is married 24 years with four sons. He works fulltime as a drafter in an applications engineering department for a multinational corporation dealing with power electronics.
Marv: Marv is one of our Global Moderators at the forums. Taking charge of our Bible Specific Questions and Discussions forum. He is an elder serving at Ebenezer Lutheran Brethren Church. He attempts to teach a Sunday School class and has been asked to work with the Teens in that capacity after several years of teaching adults. His wife, Susan, with whom he has two children, Jessica and Carl, also serves there as Superintendant of Education.His area of work is in agricultural services where he works in cooperation with a variety of producers to feed, clothe, and fuel the world. Doing this through the observation of crops and the dispensing of advice as well as performing seed cleaning to get rid of the tares among the wheat. Susan spends her typical day recycling goods through her store.
Marv's special areas of interest are church history, Martin Luther, and understanding theology as a part of our daily lives.

Dinah: Dinah “dcljoy” is one of our Global Moderators over at the forum. She assists in every area of the forum and is the Senior Moderator for Room 2 “Discipleship”. Dinah has been a Christian all her life, and has been married for 42 years with two children, a son and a daughter. Dinah is involved in a lay capacity in an evangelical Anglican church (Episcopalian), and also does volunteer work in the library of a local Bible College. Her particular interests are Christian spiritual formation, theology, and the biblical languages. Throughout her life, in all the ups and downs, she has found this to be true : "For the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Neh.8:10 NIV)
Sally: Sally “Avid Reader” is one of our Global Moderators over at the forum. She assists in every area of the forum and she is the Senior Moderator for Room 3 "Real life in the faith” She is an Aussie who was raised on a sheep farm in the New England area of NSW, near the university and church city of Armidale. She graduated from the UNE with an Honours degree in Economics and a Diploma of Education and has been a high school teacher of English and History for many years.She became a Christian when she was in her teens through reading Christian books, so literature and reading are very dear to her. She is particularly grateful for the friendship and teaching of the fellowship group at university who helped her understand many things about the Christian faith in a practical way. She has had various roles within the church, including leading women's bible study groups and serving on the church board for a time. The ministry of Christian Women Communicating Internationally (CWCI) have been a source of teaching, fellowship and encouragement through the Know Your Bible (KYB) program, as there has always been an active group of women meeting to study the bible in the various towns in which she has lived. Sally is a tutor for other women who study the bible through KYB by Correspondence.
Mary Lou: Mary Lou “Overcomer” is one of the moderators on the forum with a special focus on the Worldviews. She grew up on a dairy farm in Canada in a Christian home. She has always known Jesus, but it took a couple of car accidents, chronic pain and disability to make her focus on him and what he wanted for her and from her in life.
She is a writer, an editor and a teacher of writing and editing who loves words and, most especially, God's Word. Her favourite Scripture passage is: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Phi. 4:13).
Mary Lou has retired from full time staff and we will miss her greatly!
Cale: Cale (Gideon) is one of our Global Moderators at the forums. Cale has been serving the Lord since 1976. He is married, with one daughter (now married), and has been a member of The Gideons International since 1994. He serves as a teacher and leader in various ministries at The Rivers Foursquare Church. Cale earned a Bachelor of Theology degree from Portland Bible College in 1983. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Portland State University in 1987 and retired from an accounting career in February 2008. Special interests include teaching the Word of God, discipling, biblical stewardship, economics, and investing.
